The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be sassa status due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services stage developed for intervention encounters a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of sassa all shoppers and enhance use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
